Afterburner is a non-damaging Fire-type move.
Description
The user maximizes its Speed stat in exchange for HP equal to half its max HP.
Effects
Afterburner deducts half of the user's maximum HP (rounded down) from its current HP and, in return, it maximizes the user's Speed stat by raising it to +6 stages, even if the user's temporary Speed bonus stages were below 0 prior to using Afterburner.
Afterburner fails if the user's current HP is less than half its maximum, or if the user's Speed is already at +6 (even if the user has Contrary).
If the user has Contrary, its Speed will be lowered to -6 stages (although the message will still say that the user maximized its Speed); even if the user's Speed is already at -6 stages, Afterburner will deduct HP.
