Biology

Nuzleaf native to Azure Valley have more or less maintained their shape, but became quasi-mineralized, losing their more prominent Grass-type attributes and acquiring Crystal-type attributes instead. Curiously, they continue to exhibit organic-plant-like growth in a very similar manner to the unique, quasi-mineralized plants native to Azure Valley.

Quite similar in form to their more common cousins, Azure Valley Nuzleaf nevertheless have some differences. As with their previous form, their skins have acquired traits of opalized wood, and their body appears to have developed a small protective plate over their chest and their shoulders, inlaid with an opalized pattern loosely resembling a necklace.

Locations

The Azure Valley subspecies of Nuzleaf can be found living amidst the trees of Azure Valley.
