Peridot Town is a town located in the northern landmass of the Miato Region.
Description
Sandwiched between the ocean and Azure Ridge, Peridot Town is a quiet port town, of note only for its proximity to the tall, isolated Mount Triumph, home to Miato's Pokémon League and the Palace of the Elite Four. The practical upshot of which is that it receives massive influxes of trainers - both contenders and spectators - in time for League Conferences, often leading a festival-like atmosphere when one comes along. It is otherwise fairly unremarkable.
Flight platforms operated by attendants with large Flying-Type Pokémon exist here, to provide a way up the mountain for spectators and other non-combatants. Corresponding platforms exist at the Pokémon League.
Approaching the Azure Ridge to the north of the town one may spot a cave entrance which leads into Azure Valley. It may not, however, be possible for the Jade Town Trainers to travel to Peridot Town through Azure Valley until such a time where the valley itself poses no barriers for their exploration.
