Pokémon League
Mount Triumph

The Miato Region Pokémon League's compound rests on the peak of Mount Triumph, overlooking the entire Miato Region. On the outside, it is ringed with various facilities such as a major Pokémon Center and Pokémart, as well as small housing complexes to provide accommodations for league challengers for the duration of the league tournament itself, and flight platforms where attendants with large Flying-Type Pokémon offer connecting flights between the peak of Mount Triumph and the nearby Peridot Town, for the benefit of spectators and those trainers who were knocked out of the League tournament. These satellite-facilities serve the purposes of the two major structures of the League.

The Grand Arena

Mount Triumph was the site of major Pokémon battles in multiple points in history - and the outer shell of the Grand Arena atop of Mount Triumph is actually the remains of an ancient colosseum that has been repurposed and refurbished with the amenities required for modern battling - including a robust barrier system designed to protect spectators from misfiring attacks, a score keeping/battle analysis system providing information to the same spectators, and an advanced battlefield system. In its inert form, the battlefield is composed of a dark glass-like material and is largely featureless save for the traditional Pokémon Battle Arena markings, marked as glowing lines on its surface. When a battle is to properly initiate, an automated system randomly selects an assortment of features and the battlefield takes those on, shifting and transforming from a flat surface into a realistic environment through a combination of Elemental Holographics and actual mimetic surface technology. When three Pokémon on one trainer's side faint, the arena shifts again into a different randomized configuration - a test of endurance and adaptability for the trainers and their Pokémon, forcing them to think on their feet. When the field transforms, the Trainer's boxes are elevated on crystalline pillars, which are assigned colors (typically red and green) by the system. When the field shifts back to its inert form, the pillars descend to the arena's level.

The Pokémon League battle tournament takes place here - where hopeful trainers from around the region (and sometimes, from outside the region) who have completed the region's gym challenge clash on the battlefield. The Jade Town Trainers will encounter several familiar faces (Including Mint, Aidan or Cyan, and their rival Lyn ) and some new faces here - all vying for the title of the tournament champion - and the right to face an even greater challenge.

Palace of the Elite Four

Looming watchfully over the Grand Arena is a large and impressive crystalline structure that serves as home and battleground for the four members of the Miato Region's Elite Four. The champion of the league tournament is granted the right to enter the Palace of the Elite Four and face them in combat. The four - Eleanor, Natalie, Rilian and Acheron - may be challenged at any order, and as with other Elite Four, a defeat against one would require challenging them all again.

A trainer who has proven themselves a tournament champion will not be required to complete the tournament phase again to re-challenge the Elite Four.

Defeating all four members of the Elite Four - no easy feat for any but the most skilled of trainers - would grant one leave to enter the fifth and final chamber of the Palace, and take on the Regional Champion for a shot at a far greater title...
