Tiger's Eye Grove is a small grove of trees located at the western terminus of Route 2. It appears to be a rather nondescript location, unless one knows where to look...
Description
Located at the base of what appears to be a sheer wall of rock, part of the Tiger's Eye Ridge, the grove appears to be a peaceful nook of natural beauty to a casual onlooker. A deeper look however reveals that the trees seem to grow in ways that were at least artificially influenced and that some of the markings on the cliff faces and the moss-covered rocks in the grove appear man-made... and ancient.
Role in the plot
The truth is, Tiger's Eye Grove hides an entrance into a path leading deep into the ridge, where the Western Guardian rests. The path itself is rather treacherous - and to navigate it (as well as to even open it to begin with), a certain ancient sigil is needed. This sigil is mounted on Raven's Sigil Glove, which she will lend the player when they engage in their quest to awaken the Guardians.
The mossy rocks also have a certain ambient aura which allows Eevee to evolve into Leafeon.
Wild Pokémon
A small forest, Tiger's Eye Grove hosts some Solark, Leorva, Formarch and some other miscellaneous Bug-types.
