Biology
Cyamarga is a quadrupedal Poison/Steel-Type archosaurian Pokémon resembling a sauropod. Like its previous form, its scaly body is purple with irregular, blotchy stripe-like markings in a darker purple and its underside is a muted silver. However, in addition to the double ridge of poisonous spines along its back - now very prominent and especially long along the neck area - Cyamarga's back is studded with an array of metallic dermal plates. These provide it with an impressive dual-layered defense.
Cyamarga are also browsing herbivores. However, unlike their previous forms, they tend to be more aggressive when threatened, utilizing the spines on their body offensively by whipping foes with their tails (and on occasion, their necks), jabbing their foes with their poisonous spines. They may also use fragments of their Toxic Spikes to poison incoming threats. Should they take enough damage they may explosively release some of their dermal plates or fragments of their Toxic Spikes.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'cyanide' and 'amargasaurus'.
Origin of Design
Spianide is based primarily on an Amargasaurus, though its dermal plate are a feature associated with Saltasaurus.
Locations
Cyamarga are found in the wooded coastal plains of Route 4, between Tourmaline Town and Malachite City, albeit very rarely.
