Erol is the Gym Leader of Lapis City. He specializes in Crystal-type Pokémon and hands out the Jewel Badge to Trainers who defeat him.

Erol specializes in Crystal-type Pokémon, though one of his Pokémon is the Dark/Ghost-type Sableye, which evolves into a partial Crystal-type.
