Biology
Solardove is a small avian Grass/Flying-Type Pokémon resembling a passerine bird - though it possesses some ancient bird-ancestral traits such as wing-claws and its unique five-fingered legs. Its body is covered in yellow-colored plumage, with lighter plumage along the chest and black flight feathers along its wings. A pair of antennae tipped with red baubles emerge from its head.
Solardove are diurnally-active and largely arboreal, spending most of their time on trees - though they occasionally drop to the ground to forage for food. They feed primarily on fruit and seeds - including tough-shelled seeds, which it can crack with its beak - and the occasional small Bug-type.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'solar' and 'dove'.
Origin of Design
Solardove is based on various passerine birds and derive some traits from ancestral proto-avian maniraptorans.
Locations
Solardoves can be found on many of the earlier routes and in Quartz Forest.
