Synapsaber have strong a strong bite force (and access to bite moves such as Bite, Crunch, the Elemental Fangs and even Psychic Fangs) and are reasonably robust. Their speed is fairly middling, though it is compounded by an ability to 'blink' short distances using moves such as Shadow Sneak.
Endemic to the desert habitats, Synapsaber are very much at home in sandstorms - with the options for being faster or more evasive while one is going on.
