Biology

Coregina is a Ghost/Steel-Type Pokémon resembling a composite of a queen chess piece and a haunted suit of armor. It shares the head structure of its previous form, though the head sports a crown. Coregina's armor resembles the gown of a queen, with a long, plated 'skirt' like structure on its underside, emphasized shoulder-plates and 'sleeves' about the arms and an adorned chestplate. Two long, trailing scarves project from around the neck. Coregina wields a scepter in its right hand that conceals a blade (much like a cane sword). Coregina uses the blade for physical strikes and sheathes the sword to use it as a scepter for special attacks.

Name Meaning

A combination of 'Corazza', the Italian word for 'armor' and 'Regina', the Italian word for 'queen'.

Origin of Design

Coregina is based on the concept of Haunted Armor as well as the Queen chess piece and some classic queen gowns.

Locations

Coregina cannot be found in the wild, and must be evolved from Soldazza.
