Biology
Magpyre is an avian Fire/Flying-Type Pokémon resembling a starling. Its body is covered with glossy, vaguely-iridescent black feathers, with bright orange primary flight feathers that seem to glow with a fiery aura, in particular when the species is in flight.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'magpie' and 'pyre'.
Origin of Design
Magpyre, in spite of its name, is not based on a magpie but rather on Tristram's starling, a middle-eastern species.
Locations
Magpyre can be found in the rocky areas of the Jeweled Desert.
