Biology
Leorva is a small insectoid Bug-Type Pokémon resembling a Green Lacewing larva. Its chitinous shell is of a dark reddish-brown color with some light yellow markings. Leorva's maxillae are pincer-like, hollow and rather powerful. It uses them to seize its prey - small bug-types - pierce them and inject a digestive fluid into them, dissolving the prey from the inside and draining the resulting fluids, leaving behind a dried out husk. Their voraciousness renders them an effective agricultural pest control.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'Leo' (a reference to their similarity to Aphid Lions) and 'Larva'
Origin of Design
Leorva are based on the larvae of green lacewings, colloquially known as 'aphid lions'.
Locations
Leorva can be found as early as the routes connecting Onyx City and Quartz City.
