Diatremor was traditionally considered to have been one of the most fearsome predators of prehistoric plains and forests. Though it was thought to be extinct, scattered sightings have been recently confirmed.

Biology
Diatremor is an avian Rock/Dragon-Type Pokémon resembling a prehistoric terror bird. Unlike the thick, robust plating covering its evolutionary predecessor, Diatremor's plating is thinner and evokes a more skeletal image.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'Diatryma' and 'tremor'.
Origin of Design
Diatremor is based on a combination of Gastornis (formerly known as Diatryma) and on the extinct Phorusrhacid "terror birds" of South America.
Locations
Diatremor is not found in the wild.
