Ink Jet is a damage-dealing Water-type move. It is the signature move of the Cuttendril line.

Description

The user emits a powerful jet of ink, damaging an opponent and allowing the user to escape a confrontation.

Effects

Ink Jet deals damage and has an increased priority of +1. An enemy hit by Ink Jet has a 50% chance of having their accuracy dropped one stage. Following the attack, the user will be switched out, unless:

• The user is the only Pokémon in the party that is able to battle.
• Ink Jet fails to hit the target or the opponent's ability prevents damage from it.
• Ink Jet is the move that ended the battle.

If Ink Jet faints a foe Trainer's Pokémon, the next Pokémon sent out by the user will not be counted for additional experience.

Ink Jet may be used to switch out of Ingrain, but its effects will not be passed on. Ink Jet can also be used to bypass moves or abilities that otherwise prevent switching.
