Known as the "Star Knight", Astrallant draws upon a form of cosmic energy through the crystalline growths on its exoskeleton. It is active at night, spending days in a meditative state.

Biology

Astrallant is an insectoid Bug-Type Pokémon resembling a somewhat anthropomorphized winged ant. They are lighter in color than their previous form, with segments in light brown, gold and cream. Their body is dotted with small crystal formations that vary in radiance depending on the amount of energy they store.

Astrallant have a deep sense of attunement with the cosmos. Unlike their dark counterparts who seem to draw their strength from the void and the shadows, Astrallant draw their energy from the radiance of the stars. They are nocturnal, spending the day in a meditative state and becoming active at night. Astrallant require little sustenance as they seem to subsist primarily on whatever energy it is they absorb - research has still not identified the exact nature of this energy or what responses exactly it triggers within Astrallant that allow them to support itself on it.

They are contemplative creatures, known to calm their minds to focus on the battle ahead as they draw upon Cosmic Power, which they may release in a devastating blow to their fows. They may strike with consecutive bouts of Comet Punch or land a powerful strike with Meteor Mash or Starburst, their allowing them to take better aim. There are reports that state that fully focused Astrallant may even affect the Gravity in its immediate area.
