Biology
Winterora is a quadrupedal mammalian Psychic/Ice-Type Pokémon with a body plan resembling a cross of a feline and an ungulate. Its body is covered with thick fur in varying shades of blue, and a mane of prismatic ice crystals runs along its back, starting from the back of its head and reaching as far back as its short tail. An array of crystalline horns adorns its head, giving it a nearly crowned appearance. Elaborate snowflake-like markings adorn its forelegs and tail, while its hind legs are covered with an array of darker stripes.
Winterora's body emits a cold aura, which, combined with the refraction of light passing through its mane, Often gives it a look of being surrounded by some kind of a Rainbow Mist.
Name Meaning
A combination of 'winter' and 'aurora'.
Origin of Design
Winterora - like its pre-evolution and its alternate evolutions - is based on a combination of ungulate and feline traits. Unlike the other three, though, it draws little inspiration from any currently living species.
