When it gallops across plains, Cablaze's diamond-like horns reflect the sunlight. Its cloven hooves give it an unbreakable hold on any surface, allowing it to scale mountains sure-footedly.

Biology

Cablaze is a quadrupedal, caprine Fire-Type Pokémon resembling a goat. Like its previous form, its coat is mainly orange with a cream underside, though these are now separated by thick lines of dark, reddish-brown fur. Cream fur also covers Cablaze's legs from the hoof up to the knee. Cablaze still possess the light golden patches their previous form had, with the addition of some new patches on their shoulders. Cablaze have a slightly longer tail than Sunkyd, tipped with a typically larger, brighter flame. They also posses a fiery beard. Their horns are larger with a segmented, curved crystalline appearance.

Like their previous form they are intelligent, inquisitive browsing herbivores, though they are a more prone to aggression if provoked to it.

Name Meaning

A combination of 'cabra', Spanish for 'goat' (or alternatively capra, latin for goat and the species name) and 'blaze'.

Origin of Design

Sunkyd is based on a goat.

Locations

Due to their nature as an evolved starter form, Basileaf are not found in the wild.
