Biology

Coralfiere is a Ghost/Steel-Type Pokémon resembling a composite of a bishop chess piece and a haunted suit of armor. It shares the head structure of its previous form, though the head sports a hat-like structure similar to a Bishop's hat. Coralfiere's armor also resembles the regalia of a bishop - including a pleated, medieval-style collar, a cross-shaped adornment on its chestplate and and plated robe-like constructs running along its body. Coralfiere wields a staff tipped with a Globus cruciger-like symbol, which it uses to channel its attacks. Coralfiere has an affinity for special attacks.

Name Meaning

A combination of 'Corazza', the Italian word for 'armor' and 'Alfiere', the Italian word for the bishop chess piece.

Origin of Design

Coralfiere is based on the concept of Haunted Armor as well as the bishop chess piece.

Locations

Coralfiere cannot be found in the wild, and must be evolved from Soldazza.
