Biology

Corastello is a Ghost/Steel-Type Pokémon resembling a composite of a medieval castle tower and a haunted suit of armor. It shares the head structure of its previous form, nestled within a structure similar to the crenelations of a castle tower. Corastello's body armor is very thick and has the texture of a brick wall. Its chest plate supports a large, ornate shield, whereas the tower shields on its arms conceal a pair of high powered cannons. While Corastello is not entirely immobile, it moves very slowly and prefers to strike from afar, like a turret.

Name Meaning

A combination of 'Corazza', the Italian word for 'armor' and 'Castello', the Italian word for 'Castle'.

Origin of Design

Corastello is based on the concept of Haunted Armor as well as the rook chess piece.

Locations

Corastello cannot be found in the wild, and must be evolved from Soldazza.
