Draconic Trance is a non-damaging Dragon-type move. It is one of the signature move of Carbright.
Description
The user meditates on the spirit of an ancient dragon of legend. Bright red light erupts from the gem on its head, then from points along its shoulders as its body is enveloped in turquoise flames - and it levitates off the ground on wings of red light projected by newly-grown crystalline spines along its back, drawing the flames into its body to reveal is transformation into an embodiment of the dragon's might.
Effects
Draconic Trance changes Carbright's form into its Demiwyrm Form for a duration of five turns. For the duration of the transformation, Carbright grows in size, its Special Attack and Speed are boosted, its type becomes Fairy/Dragon, and the effects of Gemshine are altered.
When Carbright under the effects of the transformation, this move is temporarily replaced with Dreadflare until the move is used or the transformation expires.
This moves shares its PP pool with Dreadflare.
This move can only be successfully used by Carbright (or a Pokémon that has transformed into Carbright), and will fail otherwise. Additionally, it cannot be called on by moves which call other moves.
