Drazurite are beings of the air, spending nearly all their life in flight, only rarely sighted by other beings. The iridescent blue and white shades of their scales and plumes gives them an appearance akin to a piece of the sky itself given life.

Biology
Drazurite is a winged, serpentine Dragon/Crystal-Type Pokémon. Like its previous form, its body is primarily azure with a silvery-white underside. Three slightly curved, spiralling horns grow from the back of its head, facing backwards, from the horn's points of connection downwards along its back a crest of silvery plumes runs. The small head-wings of Dragonair have grown somewhat, and three further pairs of wings have emerged from its sides, two giving it "arms" and "legs" and the final pair extending from the tip of the tail, though these serve more for display. beyond its tail-wings is a fan of feathers, almost giving the tail the appearance of a bird in flight. The wings all share a similar coloring pattern - blue, fading into a darker iridescent blue, fading into silvery white. Along its back, markings in a similar shade of iridescent blue run. At various points along its body (the connection points of its wings, its chest, just before the tail-wings and at the end of long whiskers tipped with feathers emerging from the sides of its lower jaws, bluish-purplish crystal orbs are embedded.
Drazurite are rarely seen - they are creatures of the air, spending most of their time in flight. As such, little is known about them. Their affinity with lakes and water seems to be much lower than that of their predecessors. It is possible they only visit them to lay their eggs.
Name Meaning
A combination of Dragon and Lazurite, a blue mineral that is the primary component of the gemstone known as Lapis Lazuli. It also alludes to other similarly named blue minerals such as Azurite and Lazulite.
Origin of Design
Drazurite is heavily based on its pre-evolved form, Dragonair, and was designed as a more natural looking evolution for it than Dragonite is - and along the way it has acquired some traits of mythological Plumed Serpents.
Locations
Drazurite cannot be found in the wild and must be evolved from Dragonair.
