Ken is the Gym Leader of Obsidian City. He specializes in Flying-type Pokémon and hands out the Wing Badge to Trainers who defeat him.

Role in the Story

As a Gym Leader

Ken specializes in Flying-type Pokémon. The battle against him is a Sky Battle, meaning only partial Flying-types or Pokémon possessing the Levitate or Dragonflight abilities may participate. I'd like to point out that this was a fixture of his battle long before Gen 6 announced it as official. Not bitter. Not at all. <<;
