Mega Helioryx is a Mega Evolution available in the Miato Region. It evolves from Helioryx holding a Helioryxite upon exposure to Key Stone energy.
Upon Mega Evolution, Helioryx's ground-type characteristics become vastly pronounced - its coat turns black and brown and radiant markings, like rivulets of magma, cover it. Its flame blades become far more focused and a mane of flames bursts from its neck. Its horns and hooves lose their crystalline sheen and more closely resembles isles of rock constraining molten magma - and its arms grow a similar coating. With the increase to focus and intensity of its flames and the mineral formations that now coat some parts of it, Helioryx's defenses rise somewhat and it received a dramatic boost to its attack, placing it as one of the most powerful physical attackers of the Pokémon world.
