Sylveon is an official Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It is #700 in the National PokéDex.
It is not yet determined what manner of lurking horrors one must expose an Eevee to in order to get it to evolve into Sylveon in Miato. Presumably, it might involve a great deal of fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight and never running from a real fight - but then, it might just involve signing a contract with something that looks like one but most emphatically ISN'T one.
