Berylace use vibration as a form of communication - and Berylace from different regions use different frequencies. Their brilliant green coloration and iridescent eyes and gem spheres lead Bug-type enthusiasts to consider them the "Emeralds of Entomology".

Biology

Berylace is an insectoid Bug/Crystal-Type Pokémon resembling a Green Lacewing. They are delicate-bodied, vivid green insect-like creatures with large, translucent-green wings that possess crystalline qualities. small, aquamarine-colored gem-like nodes appear to be set in the dorsal segment of their exoskeleton and their legs are tipped with similar crystal-like structures. Their eyes are iridescent and appear almost golden at times.

Berylace have excellent sensory capabilities, especially senses of touch and sound. Often using body or substrate vibrations to communicate, Berylace can identify unknown invaders by their vibration patterns. Their excellent hearing also allows them to sense echo-locating predators in advance and evade them.

Unlike their voracious, predatory larval forms, Berylace feed almost exclusively on pollen and nectar and are less predisposed to aggression, often preferring to avoid combat. However, should they be cornered, they prefer to rely on special attacks such as Bug Buzz and Air Slash alongside an array of Crystal-type moves such as Mirror Wind and Prism Wave.
