A Move Tutor is a non-player character who will teach a Pokémon moves that are not normally able to be learned through leveling up or Technical Machines. As in all regions, the region of Miato features a number of Move Tutors.

Elemental Pledge Move Tutor

This tutor is located in Location Unknown and can teach the following moves to any of the Starter Pokémon at any evolutionary level.

The Spectral Nova Master (as she has come to be known) is a former Gym Leader of Lapis City and Erol's old mentor. These days she spends most of her time meditating in Azure Valley and will teach Spectral Nova to any fully-evolved Crystal-type Pokémon, provided its friendship has been maximized.
