Ampharos is an official Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is #181 in the National PokéDex.
It is the official evolution of Flaaffy and is one of the two possible evolutionary paths for that Pokémon in the region of Miato, the other leading to Blizargali.
It is also secretly a mighty artiodactyloid-dragon-creature and is actually pretty much made of awesome.
